If you combined the writings of Dodie Clark and Alec Benjamin and the voices of Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift, you would have Chelsea Silva. Chelsea Silva is an Australian singer songwriter from Sydney. All her life, she was exposed to her Portuguese musical heritage and TodayFM radio.
Silva became a chorister in the Australian Girls Choir from a very young age and this continued into her teenage years. This helped her find her life changing passion for the arts.
Silva isn’t one to limit herself as she dabbles with soft and edgy sounds to express the alternative indie pop genre. If Chelsea Silva isn’t playing her guitar and writing new songs, she is spending time with her friends and family, playing in the backyard with her German Shepard and constantly learning and changing beloved hobbies, one imaginative fixation at a time.
